A WORLD OF INFORMATION AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
The United States University Library mission is to support the learning, research, and academic success of the students, faculty, and alumni. The academic curricula are supported by access to online databases subscribed to by the University, to library self-learning instructional and credible web-based content, all curated by a professional librarian team.
The Library resources and services are wholly online within the online class platform (D2L Brightspace). The databases and self-learning library instructional resources support a comprehensive information literacy strategy that scaffolds students to acquire the necessary research skills for their success. All self-learning content in the library is available 24 X 7, including: databases, links to peer-reviewed open access journals, government data and statistics, demographics, e-books, theses, worldwide open access collections, videos, and research guides.
The librarians are here to guide the autonomous learner in the use of the research databases and self-learning instructional content in the library. Students are guided to tools and resources to assist in answering questions, scaffolded in the development of a range of crucial research skills, supported in their success as students at the university.
